Hi I’m Emily Graham,

It’s lovely to meet you!

I love to combine the magical elements of nature with my adoration for animals, to create these gentle and harmonious reflections of the world around me. This process allows me to slow down and really see the hidden beauty in small moments. I cherish these moments and through my art I hope to encourage my audience to pause and embrace the hidden beauty, within themselves and their own lives.

“Because sometimes strength isn't swords and steel and fire, as we are so often made to believe. Sometimes it's found in quiet, gentle places.”
― Rebeca Ross

Emily Graham was born and raised in the beautiful outskirts of Melbourne, Australia, where she was surrounded by luscious greenery and an abundance of wildlife.
Emily has always been a gentle and creative soul. Spending a lot of time at home due to illness, Emily learned at a young age how to use her hands to create beautiful pieces of art. She began as a crafter, learning to sew and make jewellery, until she discovered her true passion for drawing and painting when she was 14 and finally had the courage to take her very first art elective at high school and she has never looked back.
Emily attended The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University), graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art with Distinction. Since then, she has maintained a successful career as a professional artist and has sold her work all over the world.

Emily is passionate about encouraging others to embrace the hidden beauty within themselves and their own lives. Through her paintings, Emily creates a safe and wholesome space for her audience to experience a simple serene moment with these gentle, magical and harmonious beings she depicts. Allowing the viewer to slow down and fully immerse themselves within a fresh perspective. Emily expresses beauty, innocence, honesty and humble optimism through each brushstroke. Her paintings can be described as abstract realism, with magical and poetic elements.

“I am endlessly inspired by nature. Seeing the way the light plays off the leaves of trees and bounces around the landscape especially after it has just rained, I think is the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed”.
- Emily Graham

Emily currently creates out of her home studio in Bendigo, Victoria. Where she is surrounded by gorgeous walking tracks through the Australian bush, that she loves to explore with her wonderful and supportive husband and their two adorable greyhounds. She hopes to continue to build her career as an artist to a full-time capacity and start a YouTube channel where she can offer a safe space for artists to connect and encourage each other.

The mountain is one and indivisible, and rock, soil, water and air are no more integral to it than what grows from the soil and breaths the air. All are aspects of one entity, the living mountain. The disintegrating rock, the nourishing rain, the quickening sun, the seed, the root, the bird – are one. Eagle and alpine veronica are part of the mountain’s wholeness. There is no time, no season when the mountain is not alive with them
